Functie
The Innovation Team within Production Engineering drives advanced digitalization initiatives, including Digital Twin technology, Industry 4.0 solutions, and operational technology enhancements. Our goal is to create a Factory of the Future that is resilient, flexible, carbon-neutral, and fully connected.
Role Purpose:
As a Digital Twin Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy Digital Twin solutions to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce lead times, and enable virtual validation of production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement Digital Twin Standards/ methods for production lines, equipment, and processes in collaboration with business.
•Develop standards/ methods for virtual commissioning of PLC and robotics.
•Standardize CAD data and ensure seamless integration with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).
•Collaborate on process optimization using model-based systems engineering and AI analytics.
•Support pilot testing of emerging software/hardware for virtual manufacturing validations.
•Supporting users with Digital tools for Knowledge transfer and troubleshooting.
•Drive data management and automation for process documentation and MBD
•Work closely with internal teams and external partners to accelerate innovation.
•Ensure compliance with safety, DE&I, and sustainability commitments.
Functie-eisen
•Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
•3+ years in Digital Twin development, simulation, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
•Proficiency in PLM systems (Teamcenter), CAD tools(Catia, AutoCAD), and simulation software (Process Simulate, Plant Simulation).
•Proficient in automation programming for Catia, Process simulate.
•Knowledge of IoT, AR/VR applications, and AI-driven optimization.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment.
•Fluent in English (business language).
